Congratulations to our kudos of the year winner, Jonathan Williams
A massive congratulations goes to our Kudos of the year, Jonathan Williams, earning a whopping 99 kudos and winning the top prize of £100!
Jonathan has been a Procurement Coordinator here at 2buy2 for a year and a half. He offers professional advice to customers and helps them with the procurement process.
This starts with liaising with the customer to establish their needs, through to running a tender and eventually awarding the contract, with guidance on how to effectively manage the contract.
A typical day for Jonathan consists of supporting our Education customers through our Education Buying website, helping them achieve the best savings through our compliant offerings. He regularly engages with our suppliers to keep up to date with advances in the market.
He procures the most robust and compliant product offerings to support our customers whilst working on the development of solutions that will help contribute towards supporting our customers on becoming Net Carbon Zero.
Jonathan showcases our values in the work he carries out:
- V- Value for money
- I- Integrity
- P- Passion
- E- Excellence
- R- Respect
He truly is an asset, not only to 2buy2, but to everyone around him; his 99 kudos really is a credit to how hard he works! Jonathan is always pushing himself to exceed expectations, but still makes time to help others when they need it. We don’t know where we’d be without him!
Fun fact about Jonathan, he loves Harry Potter and says he can recite more than 90% of the entire box set!
Kudos was set up so that each member of our team could thank one another for their help, or good work that they have done. During team meetings, the weekly and monthly winners are announced, and they each win a prize to really thank them for their work. Top prize is the yearly winner, where the person is announced in our annual award ceremony and wins the ultimate prize of £100!
“Giving Kudos is important to us in 2buy2, we feel it’s important to recognise someone’s hard work within the business and rewarding it is key to allowing members of our team know just how valued they are to us.”- Rob Kissick, CEO of 2buy2
