I’m a Procurement Consultant here at 2buy2, I process people’s requests for tenders to be written and organise said process from start to finish – whether that be a school or church or anything else. I make sure that they are happy at the end of it, that’s the main thing.

What do you like about working at 2buy2?

I like the culture, people are very helpful and genuine. It’s one of the few organisations that I’ve worked at that is accepting of people’s failure, in the sense that you can’t be right all the time and they understand that. It’s a good culture to grow in. I also like the ability to work from home, I’ve disciplined myself and it’s helped me achieve a great work-life balance.

How are you changing the world for our clients?

I’m trying to educate schools and SBM’s on the legal constraints they often unknowingly find themselves in. I’m trying to bring good practice from different disciplines and amalgamate them together to make sure our clients get the best results.

What's the most important 2buy2 value and why?

Integrity. Most of our clients and most of the people that work within 2buy2 are at risk of criticism from other organisations etc. So, by maintaining our integrity to the best of our ability and ensuring the advice we give – whenever we give it – is the best we can give at that time with the knowledge that we have, our expertise and advice stays top class.

What are your interests?

My garden! I also like to get things right, not always because that’s life but I like to think of myself as a logical person. I’ve found that in my latter years I’m happier helping others than I have ever been before, I get a lot of satisfaction out of helping others.
